Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India has launched the OBD2 compliant 2023 Hornet 2.0. The 2023 Honda Hornet 2.0 is available at an attractive price tag of Rs 1.39 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The updated bike comes with some cosmetic changes along with new features & a BSVI Phase 2 & OBD2 compliant engine. HMSI is also offering a special 10-year warranty package (3-year standard + 7-year optional) on the motorcycle.
The 2023 Honda Hornet 2.0 comes with new body graphics, an all-LED lighting system (LED headlamp, LED winkers & X-Shaped LED tail lamp), split seat and key on tank. The bike has short muffler and ten-spoke alloy wheel design, and aluminum finished foot pegs.
Powering the 2023 Honda Hornet 2.0 is a 184.4cc, 4-stroke, single-cylinder BSVI OBD2 compliant PGM-FI engine. This engine is capable of producing 17.03bhp and 15.9Nm of torque. The OBD2 Hornet 2.0 uses multiple sensors and monitors components that can affect emission performance. If any malfunction is detected, it even illuminates a warning light on the vehicle’s instrument panel.
The motorcycle comes with a new assist and slipper clutch which eases upshifts & manages rear wheel lock-up on hard down shifts while deceleration. The motorcycle gets golden upside down (USD) front forks and monoshock at the rear. It has a fully digital liquid-crystal instrument panel that displays information like Speedometer, Odometer, Tachometer, Battery Voltmeter, Twin Trip Meters, Gear Position Indicator, Service Due Indicator and a Clock.
The 2023 Honda Hornet 2.0 has dual, petal disc brakes with a single-channel ABS. The motorcycle gets wider tubeless tyres (110mm front & 140mm rear), engine-stop switch, hazard lights, side stand indicator and sealed chain. The updated Hornet 2.0 is available in 4 colour options – Pearl Igneous Black, Matte Sangria Red Metallic, Matte Marvel Blue Metallic and Matte Axis Grey Metallic.
