Tata Motors is all set to introduce the much-awaited 2023 Nexon facelift in the country in September. The 2023 Tata Nexon facelift will come with signficant design changes and an all-new interior. Ahead of the launch, the new Nexon has been spotted on the road completely undisguised for the first time.
The 2023 Tata Nexon has been caught during official TV commercial shoot. The SUV has retained its body style; however, Tata has completely revised front fascia to give it a more modern styling. The front fascia is inspired from the Curvv SUV Concept, as it gets a new grille, slim headlamp setup and new alloy wheels. The side profile appears identical to the outgoing model, except for the slightly revised C-pillar. At the back, the SUV gets re-worked tailgate with slimmer tail-lights and a new bumper.
Inside the cabin, the new Tata Nexon will get the all-new dashboard layout with central console dominated by a new larger touchscreen infotainment screen. It gets a new digital instrument console, new touch-based AC controls, a new two-spoke steering wheel, a 360 degree camera, wireless charger and ventilated seats. The SUV will also receive sequential turn indicators.
2023 Tata Nexon Variant Details
The new Nexon is reportedly to be offered in total of 11 variants. The company is planning to ditch the older nomenclature that started with ‘X’ – XE, XM, XM+, XZ+ and XZ+ Lux. A new report claims that the new Nexon will adopt the Punch’s naming system. It will be offered in Smart, Smart+, Smart+ (S), Pure, Pure (S), Creative, Creative+, Creative+ (S), Fearless, Fearless (S) and Fearless+ (S) trims. The ‘+’ after the trim implies that the updated SUV will get optional packages with each corresponding trim. On the other hand, the (S) refers to the availability of sunroof.

Specifications
It will be offered with two powertrain options – a 1.2-litre 3-cylinder turbocharged petrol and a 1.5-litre turbo diesel. The SUV will be offered with 4 gearbox options – a 5-speed manual, a 6-speed manual, a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic and a 6-speed AMT. The petrol version will receive all 4 gearbox options, while the diesel will have 6-speed manual and a 6-speed AMT.
