The mid-size SUV segment is getting more competitive with the upcoming launch of the Honda Elevate and Citroen C3 Aircross, both scheduled for release in September 2023. The Citroen C3 Aircross will be equipped with a 1.2L turbo petrol engine paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox, delivering a claimed power of 110bhp and 190Nm of torque. Citroen C3 Aircross Mileage
Citroen has revealed that the C3 Aircross will offer an ARAI-certified mileage of 18.5kmpl, making it more fuel-efficient than its competitors like the Honda Elevate 1.5L NA (16.11kmpl), Hyundai Creta 1.5L NA (16.85kmpl), Kia Seltos 1.5L NA (17.35kmpl), and Skoda Kushaq 1.0L TSI (16.83kmpl).

Citroen C3 Aircross Platform
The C3 Aircross is part of Citroen’s C-cubed program in India and will be the fourth offering under this initiative. The brand partnered with the CK Birla Group for manufacturing, assembly, and distribution, and Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) for engineering, with a strong focus on local sourcing of components and R&D to achieve competitive pricing. Citroen C3 Aircross Features
In terms of features, the Citroen C3 Aircross will come equipped with a 10.2-inch infotainment system supporting wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, connected car technology, a 7-inch digital instrument cluster, hill hold assist, electronic stability program, rearview camera with parking sensors, and a tyre pressure monitoring system. Though, it misses out some important features such as automatic climate control, push button start/stop, cruise control, adjustable second row seats, sunroof, wireless phone charging, ventilated seats and projector headlamps or LEDs.
Seating Capacity
Buyers can choose between two seating configurations – 5-seats or 7-seats. The 5-seater version offers a boot space of 444 litres, while the 7-seater model provides a cargo space of 511 litres with the third-row seats folded down. The three-row version also features USB charging ports for the third-row occupants and roof-mounted AC vents with blower control for the second and third-row passengers.
