Honda has announced to announce the prices of the much-awaited Elevate mid-sized SUV in September 2023. Ahead of the launch, the new Honda Elevate SUV has started arriving at dealerships for customer preview. Test drives for the new SUV has also been started across dealerships. Interested buyers can book the new Elevate online or at authorised dealerships by paying a token amount of Rs 11,000.
Honda hasn’t revealed the variant details of the new Elevate. However, leaked brochure reveals that the new model will be broadly available in 4 trim levels – SV, V, VX and ZX. Honda is giving LED projector headlamps & LED tail-lamps, push button start-stop and automatic AC as standard from the base variant. The V variant gets an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment screen with wireless Android Auto & Apple CarPlay, multi-functional steering wheel, connected car tech and reversing camera.
The VX trim of the Elevate comes fitted with LaneWatch camera, 17-inch dual-tone alloys, single-pane sunroof, 7-inch semi-digital instrument console, LED projector fog lamps, auto-folding ORVMs, wireless phone charging, 6-speaker sound system & roof rails. The top-spec ZX trim gets an ADAS, a bigger 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment screen, an 8-speaker sound system, 6 airbags, chromed door handles, leatherette upholstery & auto-dimming IRVM.
The new Elevate is powered by a 1.5-litre 4-cylinder naturally-aspirated petrol engine that produces 121bhp and 145Nm of torque. Transmission options include a 6-speed manual and a 7-speed CVT automatic. Honda won’t introduce the hybrid version of the SUV; however, an all-electric model will be introduced by 2025. While the manual version of the Elevate will return a mileage of 15.31kmpl, the automatic model returns a certified fuel economy of 16.92kmpl.
