After introducing the Creta Adventure Edition, Hyundai has launched the Knight Edition of the Venue sub-4 meter SUV. The new Venue Knight Edition is available with petrol engine options and not with the diesel engine. The special edition is available in the price bracket of Rs 10 lakh to Rs 13.48 lakh (ex-showroom).
The Hyundai Venue Knight Edition comes with cosmetic changes along with added features. The SUV is finished in black paint and has blacked out elements on the front grille, roof rails, alloys, ORVMs and on the skid plates. To further improve its styling, Hyundai has added brass-coloured elements on the blacked-out elements. The brass-coloured treatment is added to the bumpers, alloy wheels and roof rails. The SUV gets red front brake callipers. The logos are finished in dark chrome, while the Knight Emblem is placed on the tailgate.
Not just black, the Knight Edition is also available in 3 colours – White, Grey and Red with black inserts. This edition is also offered with a dual-tone paint scheme (Red & Black).
Inside the cabin, the new Venue Knight Edition gets all-black interior scheme with all-black upholstery & brass treatment. The SUV gets dashcam and an auto dimming rear-view mirror. The dual-camera dashcam is also available in the Exter as well as in the N-line version of the Venue.
The Venue Knight Edition is only available with two petrol engines – a 1.2-litre NA petrol and a 1.0-litre 3-cylinder turbo. It is based on the S(O) and SX variants of the 1.2L Kappa engine, which is paired to a 5-speed manual gearbox. This engine is capable of producing 83bhp and 114Nm of torque.
The Knight Edition of the more powerful 1.0L turbo petrol engine is based on the SX(O) variant. This engine is capable of producing 120bhp of power and 172Nm of torque. Transmission choices include a 6-speed manual and a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission.
