The eagerly awaited updated Tata Nexon and Nexon EV, set to debut on September 14, 2023, have been spotted several times during testing, revealing intriguing design elements and feature enhancements. With the launch just around the corner, we now have exclusive interior spy images that unveil the new two-spoke steering wheel adorned with a backlit Tata logo, inspired by the Curvv concept. This steering wheel design will be reserved for the higher variants, while lower trims will retain the current unit.
Another major upgrade is the introduction of a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a matching 10.25-inch fully digital instrument cluster. Lower trims will continue to offer the existing 7-inch touchscreen infotainment setup. The facelifted Nexon will also feature additions like a 360-degree camera, front parking sensors, and sequential LED DRLs and taillamps.
As part of the mid-life update, the Tata Nexon lineup will adopt a new variant nomenclature similar to the Punch mini SUV. Various trims will be available, including Smart, Smart+, Smart+ (S), Pure+, Pure+ (S), Creative, Creative+, Creative+ (S), Fearless, Fearless (S), and Fearless+ (S). The ‘+’ prefix signifies optional packages, and ‘(S)’ denotes variants with a single-pane sunroof. Read: Tata.ev – Tata’s New Electric Vehicle Brand Identity Announced
